Human Nature – what a funny beast?

A few people have taken a bit of time and started working a reasonable forum and out of the woodwork comes those who seem to take life a bit more seriously then they are capable of.

False account, ridiculous threats, raves and name calling. I guess they were having fun.

Implementation of a couple of additional [...]

The Power to persuade

Can we actually make the changes necessary to clean up the environment and make things better for the future?

Rudd has critscised China over Tibet a few days ago, he said that there was not doubt there were human rights abuses in Tibet and that they should all sit down and talk.

China is upset.

Commentators are [...]

Gutsy bunch of people

The “boss” took part in a 5 km “fun run” yesterday and did well enough to surprise herself with a 25 minute jaunt.

The run is a part pf the Port Macquarie Triathalon and this was quite an event.

Over 1500 competitors plus their support teams.

Went in towards the end of the event and [...]

The world has moved on??

I have been reading a few articles about global warming and carbon capture and to be quite honest I just do not understand?

Why can’t our leadership realise that that many do not want a continuation of the coal industry and an expect a future based on renewable and non polluting energies.

Far better to [...]

The demise of LPG vehicle conversion

Recent media seems to indicate that the current Labor government might remove the current $2000 subsidy for the conversion of petrol vehicles to LPG (liquid petroeum gas).

Announced by the previous liberal government under John Howard, the demise of this very succesful programme may well be that it has been too succesful.

The $800 million [...]
